600-game NHL veteran announces his retirement

Riley Sheahan has called it a career and has officially announced his retirement from professional hockey at the age of 32.

A draft pick of the Detroit Red Wings, Sheahan played for numerous teams throughout his career. For instance, he got to play with the Pittsburgh Penguins, the Buffalo Sabres, the Edmonton Oilers, the Seattle Kraken, and even the Florida Panthers. Moreover, Sheahan was able to play over 600 games in his career, which is impressive.

'Sheahan played 637 games in the NHL from 2012-2023, scoring 74 goals, 194 points in that span with the Detroit Red Wings , Pittsburgh Penguins , Florida Panthers , Edmonton Oilers , Buffalo Sabres , and Seattle Kraken

Grand Rapids Griffins (AHL) / 2011-2014
Charlotte Checkers (AHL) / 2021-2022
