The four coaches for the 2026 All-Star Game have been chosen. Providence Bruins head coach Ryan Mougenel, Laval Rocket head coach Pascal Vincent, Grand Rapids Griffins head coach Dan Watson, and Colorado Eagles head coach Mark Letestu will serve as the coaches. The Bruins, Rocket, Griffins, and Eagles all own the best record in their division at the pre-determined deadline, the end of play on January 11th. The AHL All-Star Classic will be February 10-11 and will be played in Rockford, IL.

Ryan Moungenel

Providence is 24-6-1-0 with 49 points, tied with the Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins but they have four games in hand entering play today. Mougenel is in his fifth season as Providence’s head coach with a career record of 187-93-39. He’s gone to the playoffs in each of his first four seasons behind Providence’s bench. Has the Bruins’ assistant coach for three seasons before taking over. 

Pascal Vincent

Laval is 22-11-1 with 45 points. Vincent is in his second season as the head coach of the Rocket with a 70-30-6 record. Before joining the Rocket he was the head coach of the Blue Jackets for one season going 27-43-12. He has also served as the head coach of the Manitoba Moose where he spent five seasons. In seven seasons as an AHL head coach, he is 225-169-37.

Dan Watson

Grand Rapids is 29-2-2 this season with 60 points. They own the best record in the AHL and may have one of the best teams of all time when the season is all said and done. Watson is in his third season coaching the Griffins where he is 103-54-20. Before joining the Griffins, he was the head coach of the Toledo Walleye for 6 seasons. His Walleye record was 272-112-35, he lost in the finals twice losing in 2018-19 and 2021-22. 

Mark Letestu

The Eagles are 21-7-3 with 45 points this season. It is Letestu’s first season behind the bench after previously serving as the assistant coach for the Cleveland Monsters for four seasons.
