AHL: Milwaukee Admirals Sign John Farinacci

The Milwaukee Admirals announced today they’ve signed forward John Farinacci to an AHL contract for the 2026-27 season. Farinacci spent last season with the Providence Bruins, where in 68 games he had 19 points on nine goals and ten assists. He was a minus-five with a power-play goal and three game-winning goals. In four Calder Cup Playoff games, he had an assist and was even in plus/minus.

The Arizona Coyotes drafted Farinacci 76th overall in the 2019 NHL Entry Draft. He spent three seasons at Harvard, where in 79 games he had 61 points on 25 goals and 36 assists; he was a +24. In 2020-21, between his time with Harvard, he appeared in seven games in the USHL with the Muskegon Lumberjacks, where he had eight points on four goals and four assists; he was a plus-two. He also played in seven games for Team USA at the World Juniors Championship. He had seven points on five goals and two assists; he was a plus-eight.

Farinacci spent three seasons with Providence, where in 197 games he had 95 points on 31 goals and 64 assists. He was a plus-four with four power-play goals, two shorthanded goals, and five game-winning goals. In 16 Calder Cup Playoff games, he has two goals and two assists; he’s a minus-one. He scored a goal in his lone NHL game with Boston, which came on April 15, 2025; he was a plus-one in the game.
