AHL: Ontario Reign Sign 24-Year-Old Goalie

The Ontario Reign have agreed to sign 24-year-old goalie Isaiah Saville to an AHL contract for the 2025-26 season. Saville didn’t play last season due to injury. The last season he played was in 2023-24 with the Henderson Silver Knights. In 22 games, he went 7-12-1 with a 3.27 goals-against average, a .893 save percentage, and a shutout.

Isaiah Saville

The Vegas Golden Knights drafted Saville 135^th overall in the 2019 NHL Entry Draft. He played college hockey at the University of Nebraska-Omaha. In three seasons there, he appeared in 84 games, going 37-36-5 with a 2.78 goals-against average, a .907 save percentage, and six shutouts. Following the 2021-22 college season, he joined the Silver Knights, playing in eight games. He went 6-1-0 with a 2.05 goals-against average and a .929 save percentage. In 2022-23, he played in ten games with the Silver Knights. Saville went 4-5-0 with a 3.21 goals-against average and a .902 save percentage. He also appeared in 33 games for the Savannah Ghost Pirates. Saville went 8-15-6 with a 3.09 goals-against average, a .920 save percentage, and two shutouts. In the three seasons with Henderson, he’s appeared in 40 games, going 17-18-1 with a 3.01 goals-against average, a .902 save percentage, and a shutout.
