This past season in 57 games with the Thunderbirds, he had 15 points on seven goals and eight assists. He was a minus-two with a power-play goal, a game-winning goal, and ten penalty minutes. He had four points in his lone Calder Cup Playoff game this season.

The St. Louis Blues drafted Dickinson with the 119th overall pick in the 2020 NHL Entry Draft. In 2020-21, he made his debut in the AHL with the Utica Comets. In three games, he was held off the stat sheet. He was a minus-three. The next season he played with the Soo Greyhounds in the OHL. In 35 games, he had 47 points on 18 goals and 29 assists. He was a +18 with eight penalty minutes. He returned to the AHL in 2023-24 with the Springfield Thunderbirds. In 17 games, he had four points on three goals and an assist. He was a minus-five with two power-play goals, and four penalty minutes. He also played in 45 games with the Orlando Solar Bears of the ECHL. Dickinson had 26 points on eight goals and 18 assists. He was a plus-two with two game-winning goals and 12 penalty minutes.
