Head coach Anders Sorensen announced on March 25 that Jason Dickinson will miss the remainder of the season with a wrist injury, as reported by Ben Pope of the Chicago Sun-Times. Dickinson appeared to have hurt his wrist after fighting St. Louis Blues Jake Neighbors for an ugly hit that took defenseman Alec Martinez out of the game on March 22.

Martinez is day-to-day. Dach will miss some more time.
Dickinson recently missed games due to a high-ankle sprain he received on Feb. 5. Dickinson missed 11 games before returning to the Blackhawks when Sorensen slotted him in the top line against the Colorado Avalanche. He played six more games before his season ended prematurely.
Dickinson played 59 games, scored seven goals, and had nine assists. His presence helped the Blackhawks defensively as he was often matched up against the NHL's best players on a nightly basis. Since his return on March 10, Dickinson didn't look the same, posting a 41% Corsi and a 35% expected goals share, one of the lowest on the team in that stretch.
Jason Dickinson's contract expires in the summer of 2026 and carries a cap hit of $4.25 million.
Alec Martinez was announced as day-to-day (upper body) for the injury he received on March 22. Colton Dach will also miss "some time," although no specific timeline was given. Dach was initially listed as day-to-day after he injured his left elbow against the Los Angeles Kings on March 20.
