Blackhawks Release Preseason Schedule in Season Ticket Holder Email

With most of the expected chaos in the NHL offseason completed, the turn is now to actual hockey being played on the ice. Development camps have been in action, but the completely off-ice iteration for the Chicago Blackhawks has fans chomping at the bit for on-ice work. Have no fear, the light is at the end of the tunnel.

In an email to season ticket holders, the Blackhawks unveiled the team's preseason schedule (intentionally or not) while encouraging fans to get their tickets for the preseason slate. Similar to past seasons, the Blackhawks will play three home games and three road games.

The first three tilts will be on the road, with their final three all taking place at the United Center. The Blackhawks will play home-and-home tilts with the Detroit Red Wings, Minnesota Wild, and St. Louis Blues.

In seasons past, Fiserv Forum has served as the site for one of the "home games" in the preseason for the Blackhawks, typically against the Wild. However, it is uncertain if that arrangement will continue in 2025-26. Considering the context of the email to season ticket holders, it appears all three home games will be played at the United Center.

The preseason schedule was set to be officially announced on Thursday, July 10, but the team may have accidentally let the cat out of the bag early. Nonetheless, complete deals are expected to be announced in the formal announcement on Thursday.
