Notes:

Tonight’s game should be interesting. There is a new look second line with Philipp Kurashev getting scratched and Andreas Athanasiou slotting in to the second line center. Head Coach Luke Richardson is making a point tonight scratching Kurashev and Athanasiou can definitely benefit from a bigger role against Vancouver.

Pat Maroon also slots back into the lineup tonight after missing some time last week from a blocked shot. Reichel playing with Maroon could be a good experience for the forward. Maroon knows how to play physical and Reichel can learn a thing or two on the same line.

Frozen Frenzy:

Tonight’s game has some extra excitement. Tonight’s Hawks game starts at 7:15, an interesting start time, but for a reason. Tonight all 32 teams are playing across 16 games with start times staggering every 15 or so minutes. Frozen Frenzy was a fun addition to the league last year, and tonight should be fun to watch.
