There's been plenty of drama surrounding Coaches Corner in recent times, and now, the iconic Bobby Orr has blasted Ron MacLean for his treatment of Don Cherry.

Over the past few weeks, we've heard more from Don Cherry about his disintegrated relationship with Ron MacLean after his comments on Cherry's departure from Hockey Night in Canada and Sportsnet, going as far as to express his hatred for his former Coaches Corner co-host.

This feud has been boiling for a long time, with Cherry noting that MacLean is not welcome at his house by himself or his wife, with many other fans that witnessed the situation unfold siding with Cherry in this situation.

Now, NHL icon Bobby Orr has injected himself into the situation, commenting on how this scenario has unfolded, and unsurprisingly, he has sided with Cherry as well, calling out MacLean for his handling of it all.

'Suggesting Don Cherry used encouraging people to wear poppies on Remembrance Day as an exit strategy from Coach's Corner, revealing he had pneumonia in 2019 and that he doesn't have many friends, I have only one thing to say to you Ron MacLean: Shame on you. From one of Grapes's millions of friends and fans'

Orr notes that 'Grapes' has many fans and friends in the hockey community, while MacLean should be ashamed for the comments he's made on Cherry in recent times, with plenty of Canadians agreeing with the iconic defenseman.

Despite departing Coaches Corner and our television screens years ago, this feud is still hotter than ever, and with respected people like Orr taking the side of Cherry, it's very safe to say that we haven't heard the last of it.
