It appears that the Boston Bruins have teased a new logo, which isn't sitting well with many loyal fans, especially after many feel it disrespects Brad Marchand.

The Boston Bruins are going to have a new look during the next season. In a couple of posts made on social media on Monday morning, the Original Six franchise has teased a revamped jersey for next season, showing off the logo they plan on using for their jersey.

The Bruins are returning to the team's old-school logo

According to one post, the return of the old-school 'B' will be used by the team going forward. The logo itself isn't a new concept, as the traditional Boston 'B' in the middle of a spoked circle has been a staple of the franchise since 1949.

Before then, the team either simply had a 'B' on its sweaters or the old-school logo featuring the words 'Boston Bruins' that surrounded a bear, which has been instilled as an alternate logo in recent years.

The logo that was posted on Monday resembled that of which the Bruins used from 1949 to 1995, and was brought back with slight modifications for the franchise's 100th season in 2023-24.

During the first run of the logo, Boston had great success, with the likes of Bobby Orr, Phil Esposito, and Gerry Cheevers, as the team won Stanley Cups in 1970 and 1972, as well as making it to the final 10 times in all.

Not everyone was pleased, however, as loyal fans weren't happy with how they felt the team disrespected legend Brad Marchand by not including him in the tribute video on social media that showed all of the greats of the past.

The actual reveal of the team's new jersey isn't being held until Wednesday. With the team having gone through so many different renditions of the black and yellow, it'll be interesting to see what the organization has in store for the future.
