Brad Marchand has been on fire on social media over the past week, and now he's taken a shot at Jake Walman after his actions in the Stanley Cup Finals.
The Stanley Cup Playoffs ended over a week ago, yet still the Florida Panthers celebrations roll on, headlined by none other than Brad Marchand, who has been an absolute menace since clinching his second career Stanley Cup.
One defining moment of that Stanley Cup Finals came way back in Game 1 when Tomas Nozek took a penalty in overtime, and before he headed to the box, Jake Walman laughed in his face.
While the defenseman probably thought this was a great moment after the team would go on to win that game in overtime, it certainly backfired on him, as the Panthers would win four of their next five games to clinch their second straight win over the Oilers in the Stanley Cup Finals.
Now, over a week later, Marchand has seemingly found the video on social media, and left a comment asking a simple question about the Edmonton Oilers blue liner.
Think he's still laughing?
While Marchand was once one of the NHL's most hated players, his performance in the Stanley Cup Finals and in the celebrations afterwards have landed him plenty of new fans, with many seeing the incredible character that he is off the ice.
When winning, it's not always ideal to gloat and take the attention to place it on the losing team, but since winning the Cup the Panthers have done just that, and whether you love them or you hate them, 2025/26 will be must see as 31 other teams now attempt to knock them off their perch.
