During Saturday's afternoon game between the Vegas Golden Knights and Buffalo Sabres, one play stood out that could lead to potential punishment from the NHL Department of Player Safety.

Golden Knights forward Brett Howden blasted Sabres forward Jiri Kulich with a devastating hit along the half-wall.

Jiri Kulich down on the ice after a big hit up high from Brett Howden, Kulich now being helped off.

Peyton Krebs immediately goes to address it with Howden, but Krebs gets the 2, 5 and a 10 while Howden only gets a 5 for the nasty hit.

Sabres forward Peyton Krebs immediately fought Howden in retaliation, and was given an additional 2-minute minor penalty for instigation along with a 10-minute misconduct.
