Bruins D Jonathan Aspirot signs 2-year contract

Boston Bruins defenseman Jonathan Aspirot signed a two-year contract worth $1.775 million on Sunday.

Aspirot, 26, spent six years in the American Hockey League before making his NHL debut on Oct. 28.

He has three points (two goals, one assist) and a team-best rating of plus-15 in 25 games with Boston.
