The Boston Bruins are going to have a new look next season.
In a couple of posts made on social media on Monday morning, the Original Six franchise has teased a revamped jersey for the 2025-26 season, showing off the logo they plan on using for the new sweater.

According to one post, the return of the old-school ‘B’ will be used by the team for the foreseeable future.
The logo itself isn’t a new concept. The traditional Boston ‘B’ in the middle of a spoked circle has been a staple of the franchise since 1949. Before then, the team either simply had a ‘B’ on its sweaters or the old-school logo featuring the words ‘Boston Bruins’ surrounding a brown bear, which has been instilled as an alternate logo in the modern era.
The logo that was posted on Monday resembled that of which the Bruins donned from 1949 to 1995, and brought back with slight modifications for the franchise’s 100th season in 2023-24. During the first run of the logo, Boston had great success. With the likes of Bobby Orr, Phil Esposito and Gerry Cheevers, the team won Stanley Cups in 1970 and 1972, making it to the final 10 times in all. Their appearance in the 1990 Stanley Cup Final was the last time the Bruins made it to the championship series before the team won the Stanley Cup in 2011, wearing the spoked-B that many of this generation have grown accustomed to seeing.
The actual reveal of the team’s new jersey isn’t until Wednesday. A brief video of Bruins forward David Pastrnak opening up a box to see the new uniform was also teased on Monday. With the team having gone through so many different renditions of the black and yellow, it’ll be interesting to see what the organization has created as the team begins a new age.
