On Sunday, Alex Ovechkin officially became the greatest goal scorer in NHL history. The Washington Capitals left-wing secured his spot in the record books after scoring career goal No. 895 against the New York Islanders, surpassing Wayne Gretzky as the league's all-time goal scorer.
Throughout his 20-year-career, the 39-year-old superstar has scored goals in a variety of ways, finding his way past nearly every goaltender to stand in his way.
Despite "The Great 8's" greatness, there is a short list of those who never let Ovechkin slip one past the goalie.
Budweiser took the opportunity to commemorate them, along with Ovechkin, by sending special beer cans to the 28 goalies who never let up a goal to Ovechkin.
Sports Illustrated took to their official X account with the story.

There are a handful of active NHL goalies who appear on the list -- for now. The list includes Vitek Vanecek, Akira Schmid, Lukas Dostal, Kevin Lankinen, Joel Blomqvist, Joel Hofer, Anthony Stolarz, Jakub Dobes and Joey Daccord.
According to Sports Illustrated, Ovechkin has taken a combined 199 shots on target against these 28 goalies, an average of 7.1 shots per goalie. Of the 28 goalies, none faced more shots from Ovechkin than Vanecek, who made 19 saves without giving up a goal.
Ovechkin continues to play at a torrid pace, having scored at least one goal in each of the Capitals' last five games. During this stretch, Ovechkin broke Jaromir Jagr's record for the most game-winning goals (136), and extended his own league record for most 40-goal seasons (14).
Ovechkin also holds the record for most power-play goals (325) as well as overtime goals (27). He also remains the only player in NHL history to score at least 20 goals in 20 consecutive seasons.
Ovechkin's next chance to put one in the net will come when the they host the Carolina Hurricanes on April 10.
