Canadiens confirm Patrik Laine's injury isn't nearly as bad as originally believed

Patrik Laine of the Montreal Canadiens sustained a bad injury after being hit in the knee by Cedric Pare of the Toronto Maple Leafs.

Moments ago, the Montreal Canadiens confirmed that Laine suffered nothing but a sprained knee. He will be out for two to three months and will not need surgery.
