“I would say (I’m) just getting back to my game, I felt like my game wasn’t there for the first five games, coming back from that injury,” Mazur said. “So it’s been pretty tough to get back to that. But once I got back to it, I felt very comfortable in where I was at and how it’s playing out.”
GM Steve Yzerman called up Mazur from the Grand Rapids Griffins on Wednesday. He started the game on a line with Jonatan Berggren and Tyler Motte. Late last season and into the postseason, Mazur played on a line with Jonathan Berggren and Marco Kasper.

The was on a six-game points streak (4-3-7) when he was called up. This season he has eight goals and seven assists for 15 points in 20 games.
Mazur, 22, turned pro after helping his Denver team win an NCAA title. He played 60 games last season for Grand Rapids, scoring 17 goals and finishing with 37 points.
