Hockey is just around the corner as the Chicago Blackhawks are set to begin training camp next week. The Hawks will have two-plus weeks of practices with six preseason games interspersed as they prepare for their Oct. 8 regular-season opener against the Utah Hockey Club.
Chicago's training camp schedule begins Thursday, Sept. 19 with a 10 AM CT practice at Fifth Third Arena followed by general manager Kyle Davidson's media availability. Fans can attend training camp practice sessions by claiming free tickets at Blackhawks.com/Practices. Hopeful attendees can claim up to four tickets for their preferred date (subject to availability).
The Blackhawks will play six preseason games to ramp up for the 2024-25 season.
A home-and-home against the Detroit Red Wings kicks off the slate with a battle at the United Center on Wednesday, Sept. 25 followed by a clash at Little Caesars Arena on Friday, Sept. 27. The Blackhawks then hit the road for games against the St. Louis Blues (Saturday, Sept. 28) and Minnesota Wild (Tuesday, Oct. 1).
Chicago then hosts Minnesota at the United Center on Friday, Oct. 4 before facing St. Louis in a "Home Away from Home" game at Fiserv Forum in Milwaukee, Wisconsin on Saturday, Oct. 5.
