The Colorado Avalanche today signed forward Victor Olofsson to a one-year deal for $1.575 million. Olofsson, this past season, played in 56 games for the Vegas Golden Knights. He had 29 points on 15 goals and 14 assists. He was a +17 with six power-play goals, four game-winning goals, and 16 penalty minutes. Olofsson will be a nice bottom-six pie ce for an Avalanche team looking to find secondary scoring.

The Buffalo Sabres drafted Olofsson with the 181st overall pick in the 2014 NHL Entry Draft. The 30-year-old 5-11 180 lb winger has played in 370 career games, recording 211 points on 105 goals and 106 assists. He was a -46 with 41 power-play goals, a shorthanded goal, and 20 game-winning goals. Olofsson also played in 66 games with the Rochester Americans in 2018-19. He had 63 points on 30 goals and 33 assists. He was a +12 with nine power-play goals, a shorthanded goal, nine game-winning goals, and 12 penalty minutes. Olofsson finished seventh in Calder Memorial voting in 2019-20. He had 42 points in his rookie season on 20 goals and 22 assists. He also had a career-high 11 power-play goals. Olofsson had a career high in points and assists in 2021-22 with 49 points and 29 assists, a career high in goals in 2022-23 with 28.
