Last night, the Chicago Blackhawks and the St. Louis Blues took part in a rookie game that certainly had fans excited about their respective teams' futures.

One player that made an immediate impact was none other than Colton Dach. As you will see below, he got into a fight with Michael Buchinger. Dach won the fight quite-handedly as he put Buchinger firmly on the ground. It was a bad-ass move and one that a lot of Blackhawks fans will have a whole lot of respect for.

Reporter Ben Pope spoke about Dach's toughness and how this is his most likely road to making it into the NHL. Needless to say, Dach understands what he needs to do and he is showcasing that he has what it takes.

'There's been a lot of talk this week about how Colton Dach's road to the NHL depends on his physicality and toughness, and he clearly got the message.

He's delivered three big hits so far and just started a fight, too.'

Only time will tell whether or not this effort ultimately gets Dach onto the roster. However, in that first game, he certainly made an impression on his coaches that could go a very long way.
