Parayko is an 11-year veteran who has spent his whole career with the Blues. He was named to the All-Rookie team in 2015-16 and helped win the franchise’s first-ever Stanley Cup back in 2019.
The Sabres are looking to make a real playoff push. It has been a decade to forget for the Sabres. The team has not made the playoffs since the 2010-11 season and has not won a playoff series since the 2006-07 season.
The Sabres have had a complete turnaround this season. They were 11-14-4 to start the season, near the bottom of the Eastern Conference. Now they sit third with a 36-19-6 record.
Parayko is also under contract through 2030 at $6.5 million per year.
