Connor Bedard is a superstar in the making with the Chicago Blackhawks, however, he is not the type of player you expect to see fighting.
On Saturday night, that is exactly what he ended up doing against the St. Louis Blues. During a tangle with Zack Bolduc, Bedard got angry and started throwing hands. While he did not drop the gloves completely, things did get violent. Eventually, Bedard was able to take Bolduc down completely and it was quite the scrum that ensued.
We are not permitted to show this on Hockey Unplugged, however, you can find the fight at the link below.

After the game, Bedard spoke on his decision to fight and what sparked the whole thing. Ultimately, he just wanted to go to bat for his guys.
"I was getting into it and then our whole team jumps in there. That's the brotherhood you need and it's cool to see Korch kinda chucking em."
Blackhawks head coach Luke Richardson was much less enthusiastic about the fight involving Bedard. While speaking to reporters, he made it clear that he wishes his forward would not engage in this in the future.
'I think Connor needs to stay out of that stuff if he could. But I like the thought process of it and his mentality that he's not going to take anything from anybody out there."
