Dallas Stars Extend Four Players

The Dallas Stars announced this morning that they are extending forwards Harrison Scott and Matthew Seminoff to two-year, two-way contract extensions. This comes after they announced yesterday that they extended Kyle Capobiano and Luke Krys to two-year contract extensions. Krys is a two-year, two-way while Capobianco is a two-year deal at $850K one-year and $900K the next.

Scott, in 72 games with the Texas Stars, had 32 points on 18 goals and 14 assists. He was a minus-three with three power-play goals, a shorthanded goal, and two game-winning goals. In five playoff games, he was held pointless and was a minus-five. Seminoff, in 72 games with Texas, had 50 points on 24 goals and 26 assists. He was a +13 with nine power-play goals and a game-winning goal. In five playoff games, he had a goal and three assists; he was a minus-two.

Capobianco started the season in Texas, playing in five games where he had a goal and three assists; he was a plus-one. He then appeared in 33 games for Dallas, where he had five points on two goals and three assists; he was a plus-one. Krys, in 40 games, had 16 points on seven goals and nine assists. He was a plus-one with a shorthanded goal. In five playoff games, he had two assists and was even in plus/minus.
