Dallas Stars reveal promotional schedule filled with can't-miss nights and surprises for fans

The Dallas Stars have released their full 2025-26 promotional schedule, and the lineup of giveaways, celebrations, and special events could make this one of the most exciting seasons yet for fans at American Airlines Center.

From collectible bobbleheads to culture-themed matchups and tributes to franchise legends, Dallas has made sure that almost every home game offers more than just hockey, and that extra energy might help carry the team through another long season.

Opening night on October 14 against the Minnesota Wild already sets the tone with a classic magnet schedule giveaway. But it's the months that follow where the real surprises appear, from unique fan items to unforgettable celebrations that honor both the franchise and the community that supports it.

Many fans already point to these nights as the "can't-miss" dates of the season, and it's not hard to see why.

The biggest Dallas Stars theme nights and giveaways every fan should circle

October 23 brings Pickleball Night, where discounted ticket holders receive a Dallas Stars paddle. Just days later, the spooky Halloween matchup with the Washington Capitals (Oct. 28) promises one of the most creative atmospheres at the AAC.

In November, it gets even bigger. On Nov. 4 against the Edmonton Oilers, fans will receive a Mikko Rantanen bobblehead, his first since joining Dallas.

Later that month, the Stars Hall of Fame Celebration Night (Nov. 15 vs. Flyers) will honor Ralph Strangis and Joe Nieuwendyk, followed just three days later by a tribute to Daryl "Razor" Reaugh and his induction into the Hockey Hall of Fame.

December features Hockey Fights Cancer Night (Dec. 5), while January offers Teacher Appreciation, Kids Day, and Texas Rangers Night. Later in the spring, community and culture take center stage with Black History Night (Feb. 4), Noche Mexicana (Mar. 10), and Pride Night (Mar. 24). The season ends with Fan Appreciation Night on April 11, always one of the most emotional evenings of the year.

Stars president Brad Alberts summed it up best earlier this summer when he said,

"Our goal is to make every game at American Airlines Center feel like an event, not just a hockey game."

Full details are available on NHL.com's official schedule, and more league coverage can be found at Reuters.

Personally, I think this schedule shows how Dallas continues to set the standard for fan engagement in the NHL.
