Since that report nearly three weeks ago, J.T. Miller has been linked to a number of different teams around the National Hockey League, including the New York Rangers, which came close to bringing their former first-round pick back last weekend, but the deal fell through at the last minute.

The reason why the deal between the Vancouver Canucks and New York Rangers fell through had to do with the conditions on a first-round pick Patrik Allvin was trying to acquire, according to a report from The Athletic.

But now, less than a week after that trade fell through, we now know what the Vancouver Canucks would've been acquiring from the New York Rangers.

In his most recent "32 Thoughts" article, Sportsnet insider Elliotte Friedman shared the details of what Vancouver would have got in return for forward J.T. Miller.

Friedman is reporting that the deal between Vancouver and New York was J.T. Miller for Filip Chytil, a first-round pick and a prospect, whose name we likely won't ever know.

"Believe the New York offer was Filip Chytil, a first-rounder and a prospect," Friedman said.

Depending on the prospect and the conditions on that first-round pick, that deal could have been pretty interesting for the Vancouver Canucks. However, with Filip Chytil's injury history, it might not be ideal to add him.

With exactly six weeks to go until the National Hockey League's trade deadline, rumors are going to continue to swirl regarding J.T. Miller, and it seems like it's only a matter of time before he's dealt by Patrik Allvin.
