The Detroit Red Wings return tomorrow night following a big 5-3 win over the Ottawa Senators on Tuesday night. The win was their first of the 2026-27 season. Today they announced that they are activating defenseman Jacob Bernard-Docker from IR. They are also placing forward JT Compher on IR retroactive to 10/04. Compher is considered day-to-day as he didn’t skate on Wednesday during practice and their hasn’t been an update yet. He’s expected to miss the next two games making his return as early as Tuesday against New Jersey. Bernard-Docker has been out with an upper-body injury as he was on injured reserve since September 28th.
