The Trois-Rivières Lions continue to stay active as they’ve announced their second signing in two days as Anthony Beauregard in returning for his fourth seasons with the Lions. This comes a day after the Lions re-signed their captain, Morgan Adams-Moisan. Beauregard, 29, put up 25 goals and 42 assists for 67 points in 67 games during the 2024-25 season. He added 10 goals and eight assists for 18 points in 21 Kelly Cup Playoff Games. The Lions have now locked up two members of their 2024-25 leadership group.

Anthony Beauregard, 29, is heading into his seventh season in the ECHL. During his three years with the Lions, he’s put up 66 goals and 82 assists for 148 assists in 178 games. The St-Damase, Quebec, native has also seen time with the Indy Fuel, Brampton Beast, and Wichita Thunder. He is one of two members from the Brampton Beast to win a Kelly Cup Championship, joining Lions assistant coach Luc-Olivier Blain. In 325 ECHL games, he’s put up 103 goals and 154 assists for 257 assists in 325 ECHL career games. He’s added 13 goals and 11 assists for 24 points in 36 career Kelly Cup Playoff games. Beauregard has also seen action in 19 AHL games with the Laval Rocket, putting up two goals and an assists for three points.

Anthony Beauregard Junior Career

Prior to going pro, Beauregard spent time parts of four seasons in the QMJHL with the Val-d’Or Foreurs. He he had 69 goals and 154 assists for 223 points in 207 games. He would win a QMJHL Championship in 2014 and be named to the QMJHL Second All-Star Team in 2016. Beauregard would then spent parts of two seasons in USports with Concordia University. In his only full season with the Stingers he would put up 19 goals and 41 assists for 60 points in 29 games. He would be named the USports Player of the Year that season along with many other accoladtes.
