ECHL: Darian Skeoch Announces Retirement

ECHL Career

Over the course of his career, Skeoch would play in 232 games while spending time with the Indy Fuel, Allen Americans, Savannah Ghost Pirates, and Adirondack Thunder. He would put up seven goals and 25 assists for 32 points while racking up 607 PIMS. Skeoch dropped the gloves 32 times during his ECHL career.

During his career, Skeoch was a player who had no problem stepping up for his teammates and was never afraid to throw a big hit or drop the gloves. He was also a fan favorite in both the Adirondack and Savannah communities and always gave back to the community. He would wear an “A” during his time in the Ghost Pirates and would wear the C for Adirondack for a little over a year after being named interim captain of Adirondack on March 31st. 2024.

Junior and College Career

Prior to playing in the ECHL, the New Liskeard, Ontario, native would spend time in the WHL and USports. In 145 games in the WHL with the Lethbridge Hurricanes and Vancouver Giants, Skeoch would put up four goals and 19 assists for 23 points in 145 games. He would add two assists in eight WHL playoff games.

During his two years in USports, he would put up five goals and eight assists for 13 points along with 133PIMS in 47 games. He would add three assists in 10 postseason games.
