The Idaho Steelheads have signed 6’3″ forward Adam Ingram to an Amateur Tryout after he completed his collegiate career at St. Cloud State University.

Collegiate Career

Adam Ingram spent all four of his collegiate seasons at St. Cloud State, where he played in 133 games. He registered 23 goals and 49 assists for 72 points in a Husky jersey. He also had 60 penalty minutes and a +2. During his time as a Husky, Ingram also had eight power-play goals and four game-winning goals.

Junior Career

Before joining the Huskies, Ingram spent one season in the USHL, where he played for the Youngstown Phantoms. In 54 games with the Phantoms, he found the back of the net 26 times and added 29 assists for 55 points. Ingram also had 30 penalty minutes and a +10. In his lone USHL season, Ingram was named to the USHL All-Rookie Team.

The West St. Paul, Manitoba native started his junior career in the 2020-21 season, where he played for the Selkirk Steelers of the MJHL. Through eight games, he had two goals and five assists for seven points with eight penalty minutes.

Adam Ingram is a forward who brings a lot of size and is not afraid to shoot the puck, having racked up 209 shots during his time with St. Cloud. Ingram can find ways to score when his team needs him to, having scored in the NCAA Regional game against Minnesota in 2023 and in the NCHC Frozen Faceoff semifinal game against Denver in 2024. He had a bit of a quiet senior season, but he started to find his game towards the end of the season after registering three goals and two assists in the final five games of St. Cloud’s season.

Ingram will be joining his former teammate, Nick Portz, in Idaho after the two played together at St. Cloud from 2023-2025.
