The Kalamazoo Wings have announced that they’ve signed forward Raymond Brice to an ECHL contract. Brice, 30, had two goals and an assist in three games in the Great Lakes Hockey League last season and also served as an assistant coach for Michigan Tech. This will be his first appearance in the ECHL since the 2022-23 season.

The Houghton, Michigan native has spent two seasons in the ECHL with the K-Wings, where he’s put up 23 goals and 13 assists for 36 points in 132 games. Prior to joining the Kalamazoo, Brice spent a season in the SPHL, where he put up four goals and an assist for five points in 15 games with the Macon Mayhem. During the 2023-24 season, he bounced around Europe playing in Hungary, Germany, and the UK. He would put up two goals in three games with DEAC (Erste Liga). In Germany, he had nine goals and 13 assists for 22 points in 24 games with Füchse Duisburg. Brice would finish that season in the EIHL, where he had six goals and four assists for 10 points in 16 games with the Manchester Storm. He would add an assist in two playoff games.

Brice spent his collegiate career at Michigan Tech, where he put up 13 goals and 13 assists for 26 points in 95 games. During his final season with the Huskies, he would serve as the team’s captain. He would be a part of a Huskies Program that won back-to-back WCHA Championships in 2017 and 2018.
