ECHL: Kevin Wall Heads Overseas

Tahoe Knight Monsters forward Kevin Wall is heading overseas to Germany to join the Krefeld Pinguine (DEL). Wall, 26, had 21 goals and 37 assists for 58 points in 53 games last season and would add an assist over the course of four Kelly Cup Playoff games. He also saw action in six games in the AHL with the Springfield Thunderbirds. Wall becomes the second member of the Knight Monsters to take the overseas route since the season ended, joining Aidan De La Gorgendiere.

Prior to joining the Knight Monsters, the sixth-round pick of the Carolina Hurricanes in 2019 spent his first two pro seasons in the AHL with the Milwaukee Admirals. Over the course of 103 games with Milwaukee, Wall put up eight goals and 12 assists for 20 points.

BCHL and NCAA Career

The Rochester, NY, native began his career in the BCHL with the Chilliwack Chiefs. In 49 games with Chilliwack, he had 31 goals and 33 assists for 64 points and led all rookies in goals while also being named to the BCHL First All-Star Team and BCHL All-Rookie Team. He would add two goals and two assists for four points in 11 playoff games with the Chiefs. Wall would head to the NCAA to join Penn State after one season in the BCHL.

Over the course of four seasons with the Penn State, Wall put up 43 goals and 43 assists for 86 points in 125 games. The Nittany Lions won the B1G Regular Season Championship in 2020. Wall would be named an honorable mention to the BIG All-Star Team in 2022 and 2023.
