ECHL: Kyle Haskins Signs With Reading Royals

The Reading Royals have signed forward Kyle Haskins for the 2025-26 season. Haskins had three goals and four assists for seven points in 13 games with the Orlando Solar Bears and Greenville Swamp Rabbits. He began his career in Orlando before being traded to Greenville on March 20th. The 25-year-old center would be traded again during the future consideration trade deadline, which landed him in Reading. He is the second player signed and the first new face to the Royals roster for the 2025-26 season.

Prior to going pro, Kyle Haskins spent his junior career in the NAHL. He played two seasons with the Waterloo Black Hawks. He would put up 23 goals and 20 assists for 43 points in 106 games. Haskins would add two goals and an assist in four playoff games.

The Huntington, Vermont, native would then take the NCAA route, playing three seasons at Michigan State before spending his last two seasons of eligibility at Canisius College. In three seasons with the Spartans, he had a one goal and five assists for six points in 56 games. During his two years with the Eagles, he would put up 15 goals and 23 assists for 48 points in 72 games.

Haskins also played four games at the U18 Grezky-Hlinka cup in 2018.
