Forward Peter Morgan is heading overseas to join Anglet Hormadi in Ligue Magnus. This will be his first time playing professionally outside North America.
Morgan opened the year with the Atlanta Gladiators, where he earned steady ice time across 18 games. During that stretch, the 25-year-old forward recorded two goals and one assist for three points. He also had a posting with a +6 rating. Morgan scored his first professional goal on November 26, 2025, during Atlanta’s home game against the South Carolina Stingrays.
That North American experience now sets the stage for his transition to Europe. By joining Anglet, Morgan steps into France’s top professional league. The larger ice surface and different style of play will challenge his speed, awareness, and versatility. It’s an opportunity to expand his game while taking on a new role in a competitive international environment.
Anglet currently sits 11th in the 12-team Ligue Magnus standings, posting a 7–20–4 record through 33 games with 31 points. The club has scored 88 goals while allowing 134, and is level on points with Cergy-Pontoise but trails on goal differential. Morgan joins Anglet as the team looks to stabilize its lineup and push for traction down the stretch of the 2025–26 season.
Before turning pro, the Sarasota, Florida, native built his foundation at SUNY Geneseo. With the Knights, he served as team captain and developed into a consistent offensive presence. That combination of leadership and production now follows him overseas as he continues to carve out his professional path.
