The Trois-Rivières Lions have announced that they’ve signed defenseman Seth Bernard-Docker to a standard ECHL contract. Bernard-Docker, 24, spent the last four seasons playing in the NCAA with Bentley University, where he had a goal and 12 assists for 13 points in 57 games. All 12 of his points came during his first two seasons with the Falcons. The Falcons won back-to-back AHA Championships in 2025 and 2026. He is the fifth college signing by the Lions and the first from the NCAA.

Prior to playing in the NCAA, the Canmore, Alberta, native spent parts of four seasons in the AJHL with the Okotoks Oilers. During his time with the Oilers, he put up eight goals and 49 assists for 57 points in 122 games. Bernard-Docker would lead Okotoks in PIMs (143) during the 2019-20 season. He would put up two goals and seven assists for nine points in 14 AJHL playoff games with the Oilers. Bernard-Docker would then spend one year in the USHL with the Sioux Falls Stampede. In 29 games with the Stampede, he put up a goal and three assists for four points.
Seth is the younger brother of Jacob Bernard-Docker, who has played in 201 NHL games with the Ottawa Senators, Buffalo Sabres, and Detroit Red Wings. His sister, Island Bernard-Docker, just finished her fifth season in USports with Mount Allison University.
