The Utica Comets have announced that they’ve recalled goaltender Tyler Brennan from the Adirondack Thunder. Brennan, 22, is 2-3-1 with a 2.98 GAA and .885SV% in six games this season with the Thunder. Prior to his last start against Reading , Brennan had given up three goals or fewer in his first five starts. According to Ben Birnell of Daily Sentinel Times, the call-up is related to an injury for Brennan. I would expect Jeremy Brodeur to get both of the starts this weekend against the Indy Fuel, as Henry Welsch will serve as the backup.
This is the second move involving the Thunder today after they announced the signing of Ben Johnson this morning.
