The Worcester Railers have announced their 2025 Training Camp Roster, consisting of 20 forwards, nine defenseman, and two goaltenders. Nine of the 33 players are heading to camp on a try-out agreement with Worcester.

Professional Try-Out Agreements (PTO)

JC Campagna (F)

Campagna, 32, put up two goals in four games during the 2024-25 season in Slovakia while playing for HC 19 Humenné; he also appeared in five playoff games. The majority of his professional career has been spent in the ECHL, as he has played for 10 different teams. In 211 ECHL games, he put up 77 goals and 69 assists for 146 points. He would add three goals and three assists for six points in 12 Kelly Cup Playoff games. For the Dallas, Texas, native, the Railers will be his 11th different ECHL team over the course of his career. Campagna saw one game of AHL action with the Chicago Wolves during the 2018-19 season.

Nick Pennucci (F)

Pennucci, 26, joins the Railers camp having already re-signed in the SPHL with the Quad City Storm. In 37 games last season with the Storm, he put up four goals and five assists for nine points. He also played in two games with Worcester during the 2023-24 season. Pennucci is one of two Worcester, Massachusetts, natives with an invite to training camp with the Railers. Prior to going pro, he played four seasons in the NCAA with Worcester State University. In 102 games with the Lancers, he put up 20 goals and 25 assists for 45 points.

Benjamin Lindberg (D)

Lindberg, 25, started and finished his season in the SPHL, where he put up five goals and six assists for 11 points with the Evansville Thunderbolts. In seven games during the SPHL playoffs, he had three assists. He would make his ECHL debut with the Adirondack Thunder, where he played in 11 games before being traded to the Worcester Railers. Despite playing in just four games with the Railers, he would manage to pick up his first career assist with Worcester. Lindberg began his career in Evansville at the end of the 2023-24 season, where he put up two goals and two assists for four points in 23 games, along with playing in five games during the 2024 SPHL Playoffs.

Thomas Gale (G)

Gale, 25, made his pro debut last season playing in two games with the Wheeling Nailers, where he put up a 1-1 record with a 3.58 GAA and .899SV%. Prior to joining the Nailers, Gale spent four seasons at Holy Cross.

Matt Myers (F)

Myers, 23, joins the Railers after spending the last four seasons in the NCAA with Middlebury College, where he put up eight goals and 10 assists for 18 points in 81 games with the Panthers. Prior to playing in the NCAA, Myers spent a season in the NCDC with the Islanders Hockey Club. In 31 games, he put up five goals and six assists for 11 points. The Worcester, Massachusetts, native is hoping to make a name for himself as the hometown kid who makes the team out of camp.

Nathan Berke (F)

Berke, 26, signed with the Huntsville Havoc for the 2025-26 season after putting up a goal and three assists for four points in seven games at the end of last season. He would add one assist in three SPHL playoff games with the Havoc. Prior to playing in the SPHL, the Williamstown, NY, native played four seasons in the NCAA with SUNY-Cortland. In 106 games with the Red Dragons, he put up 50 goals and 61 assists for 111 points. During his final season with SUNY-Cortland, he had 16 goals and 23 assists for 39 points in 26 games and was named the SUNYAC Player of the Year. Berke would be named to the SUNYAC Second Team All-Conference in his sophomore and junior seasons, before being named to the First Team All-Conference last season.

Prior to playing at the NCAA level, he spent three seasons in the OJHL with the Buffalo Jr. Sabres, where he had 40 goals and 75 assists for 115 points in 130 games. He would add two goals and seven assists for nine points in 14 OJHL playoff games. Berke also played in three games with the Johnstown Tomahawks at the end of the 2019-20 season.

Chase Maxwell (F)

Maxwell, 24, spent the last three seasons in the NCAA at SUNY-Brockport. In 68 games with the Golden Eagles, he put up 19 goals and 24 assists for 43 points. Prior to playing at the NCAA level, the West Hartford, Connecticut native spent two seasons with the Connecticut Jr. Rangers. During the 2020-21 season, he played in the USHL Premier League, where he put up eight goals and five assists for 13 points in 28 games. The following season, he played in the NCDC, where he put up seven goals and 10 assists for 17 points in 40 games.

Michael Ferrandino (D)

Ferrandino, 25, began his NCAA career at the University of St.Thomas, where he put up one assist in 26 games. He would then spend the following three seasons at Augsburg University, where he put up nine goals and 23 assists for 32 points in 77 games. In 2023, the Augies won the MIAC Championship, and the following year, Ferrandino would be named to the MIAC All-Conference Team. Ferrandino finished last season in the SPHL, where he put up a goal and six assists for seven points in 15 games with Peoria Rivermen. He would add one assist in four games during the playoffs.

Prior to going pro, the Lisle, Illinois, native spent parts of five seasons in the USHL with four different teams. In 218 games, he put up two goals and 45 assists for 47 points. He would add two assists in eight USHL playoff games. Ferrandino finished his junior career in the NAHL, where he put up one goal and 11 assists for 12 points in 42 games with the Minnesota Magicians.

Jack Ring (D)

Ring, 24, spent the last four seasons in the NCAA with SUNY-Plattsburgh. In 105 games with the Cardinals, he put up 16 goals and 48 assists for 64 points. During the 2022-23 season, the Cardinals won the SUNYAC Championship, with Ring being named to the SUNYAC All-Tournament Team, as well as the SUNYAC First Team and the SUNYAC Second Team.

Prior to playing in the NCAA, the Hingham, Massachusetts, native spent parts of three seasons in the NAHL with the Northeast Generals and New Jersey Titans. During his time with the Generals, he put up three goals and 12 assists for 15 points in 36 games. He would play in two playoff games with the Generals. In 52 games with the Titans, he put up seven goals and 19 assists for 26 points in 52 games. Ring added a goal and two assists for three points in five playoff games with the Titans.
