The Edmonton Oilers are set for a second straight Western Conference Playoffs against the Dallas Stars, and now we know the schedule for the highly anticipated matchup.

It was the Edmonton Oilers that came out on top against the Dallas Stars in the Western Conference Finals a year ago, and now, with both teams being bigger nad better than ever, this should be another thrilling series.

Now, the schedule has been officially released for the series, with Game 1 and 2 set to take place in Dallas this coming Wednesday and Friday, giving both teams several days to rest up and get as close to 100% as they can ahead of this showdown.

The most intriguing announcement to come out of the series schedule however is Game 3 in Edmonton, which is set for 3PM on Sunday May 25th, with matinee games known to be a weakness for this Oilers team.

However, they've been absolutely rolling as of late, winning eight of their last nine games as they cruised past both the Los Angeles Kings and Vegas Golden Knights, with goals of getting back to the Stanley Cup Finals for the second straight season.

The Stars can't be taken lightly though, as this is a team that has star power all over the ice, and with the need to get revenge for last years series loss at the hands of the Oilers, both teams will be coming into this one very confident and very, very physical.

At this point, it's anyone's guess as to who advances to the Stanley Cup Finals, with two loaded, star studded teams set to do battle, and with things starting on Wednesday in Dallas, it should be must-watch TV for any hockey fan.
