NHL insider Elliotte Friedman has just confirmed Jacob Trouba will likely be traded within the next 24 hours after latest development.

Early Friday morning, Larry Brooks of the New York Post revealed that Trouba wouldn't be participating in the Rangers morning skate, and won't play in Friday's game due to Roster Management.

Following that report, several others indicated that this is happening because the Rangers are set to place Trouba on waivers or even trade him.

However, the time has hit 2:00PM and insider Elliotte Friedman has revealed that Jacob Trouba has NOT been placed on waivers.

This suggests that the New York Rangers and GM Chris Drury believe a trade can be completed within the next 24 hours, as pointed out by Arthur Staple:

Along with this news, other reports have surfaced that suggest the Anaheim Ducks are now amongst the teams that are interested in Trouba.
