There is now less than a week before the March 7 trade deadline, and in exactly six days, all NHL teams will be set for the end of the season and the playoffs.
Naturally, until Friday, rumors will continue to escalate throughout the NHL, and this will be about different cases.
Several players may change addresses, as is the case every year, and it will once again be very interesting to watch.
The entire week may be very exciting, and already today, it’s the beginning of players being left out in connection with a potential trade.
Indeed, the Nashville Predators will leave Gustav Nyquist out tonight to avoid him getting injured in view of an imminent trade.
Hearing Gustav Nyquist will not play this afternoon for Nashville on Long Island.
Health protection for trade.

And on the Montreal Canadiens’ side, we could very well see this kind of situation in the coming days, especially concerning Jake Evans.
The center player has a strong chance of being traded, as there is a lot of interest in him on the trade market.
Moreover, the New Jersey Devils, who were already interested in Evans over a month ago, are still looking for a player with Evans’ profile.
“They’d really like to add a rugged, scoring, playoff-type guy into their top-6 and also add more depth on defense.”

In fact, as can be read in a recent article by RG Media, the Devils will be very aggressive until the trade deadline, as they want to improve in several areas.
And one of their cases is to add a depth center capable of playing in a top-9, mainly in the “middle 6”, or on a second or third line.
This is exactly what Evans represents, and therefore, there is clearly a strong link to establish between Jake Evans and the Devils.
All of this remains to be followed closely, but it is clear that a trade could occur between the Canadiens and the Devils, and it is therefore necessary to continue monitoring the situation very closely.
If the Devils decide to make a good offer to the Canadiens, and especially an offer that matches the price demanded by Kent Hughes, Evans could pack his bags for Newark.
In short, let’s see if Evans will be left out in the coming days, either on Monday against the Buffalo Sabres or on Thursday against the Oilers in Edmonton.
I didn’t mention tonight’s game, as for now, nothing indicates that Jake Evans will be left out.
– Note.
Due to a scheduling conflict with CF Montreal, the Rocket game will start on the radio at 6:30 p.m. for the pre-game show, and we will yield the antenna to soccer at 8 p.m. for the game in Minnesota. It will be possible to continue listening to hockey via our website and FloHockey.
