The Panthers have had a fantastic off-season, and ahead of their chase for their third straight Stanley Cup, they've added another intriguing veteran.

To this point in the summer, the Florida Panthers have been incredibly busy, inking Mackie Samsokevich, Brad Marchand, Sam Bennett and Aaron Ekblad all to new deals, and now, they've made another intriguing move.

With training camp just a matter of days away for most teams around the National Hockey League, professional tryouts are being given out, with the Panthers adding a solid veteran in the process.

Noah Gregor Bring Nearly 300 Games of NHL Experience to the Panthers' Depth Chart

According to reports, 27-year old winger Noah Gregor has inked a PTO with the Panthers as they look to add depth to their already deep forward group, giving him the chance to compete for one of their starting spots in 2025/26.

Gregor appeared in 52 games between Ottawa and San Jose this past season, tallying 4 goals and 7 points in that time, and while he's not going to knock the doors down and get a significant role in Florida, he could be a valuable depth piece for them.

Coming into this season, the former fourth-round pick has 293 games of NHL experience under his belt, and while he's failed to catch on as a significant piece in that time, his depth, physicality and experience make him the perfect PTO option for Florida.

Only time will tell whether or not Gregor can push for a full-time deal with the Panthers this season, but given the competition around him, it's safe to say that if he gets that deal, he will have earned it.
