It's been a very tough week for hockey following the passing of 12-year-old Natalia Moore in Michigan, along with German National Team forward Tobias Eder yesterday and now, the sport has lost a beloved member of the media in Ottawa. The Ottawa Senators took to social media on Thursday morning to share that Shawn Simpson, who was a long-time NHL executive and most recently, a member of the media landscape in Canada's capital, has passed away at the age of 56. 'The Ottawa Senators were deeply saddened to hear of the passing of Shawn Simpson, lionhearted member of the Sens media landscape and proud member of the Ottawa community.
