Sidney Crosby's future has been a huge talking point in recent times, and now a top ESPN analyst has revealed where he thinks Crosby will end his career.

The NHL's rumour mill has been in overdrive these past few weeks, and while we haven't yet seen many blockbuster moves, there's been speculation that something big could be brewing.

One person that has been surrounded by speculation thus far has been Pittsburgh Penguins captain Sidney Crosby, with rumours that he could ask for a trade swirling at the 2025 NHL Draft.

That was shut down from all possible angles by Crosby, the team and his management, but still, with the team headed towards a full on rebuild, talk about his future has come up again.

Now, we've seen some very intriguing comments from ESPN's Gren Wyshynski, who states that he has believed for a long time that Crosby will not only end his career outside of Pittsburgh, but with the Montreal Canadiens.

'I've long believed he will end his career in Montreal'

Despite the rumours being shut down, it simply won't go away, and with Crosby unlikely to get another shot at a Stanley Cup in Pittsburgh, it remains a real possibility that he's traded in the next 18 months.

Even at the age of 37, Crosby was once again stellar this past season, posting 33 goals and 91 points in 80 games played, and with the Nova Scotia native locked down for at least the next two years, he's shown no signs of slowing down at the top level anytime soon.

For now though, he's likely to start the 2025/26 campaign with the Penguins, and while things could change very easily, for now, the long-time superstar centre remains committed to Pittsburgh.
