Vegas Golden Knights star Jack Eichel has played in several games with a lot on the line in his hockey career, thus far. He will figure in another massive contest this coming Thursday, with Team USA set to take on Canada for the title in the 2025 4-Nations Face-Off .

Eichel, who has won a Stanley Cup with the Golden Knights in 2023, said that the looming rematch against Canada will be as big as it gets.

"Biggest game I've played in in quite some time. Maybe ever,” Eichel told reporters following USA’s 2-1 loss to Sweden on Monday at TD Garden in Boston (h/t SportsCenter) .

“I’m really looking forward to it. I think everyone in the room is looking forward to it. That’s what we wanted, right?”

Eichel and Team USA defeated Canada in the round-robin portion of the tournament last Saturday via a score of 3-1. That game is perhaps best remembered not by its final result but for the way it started – with three fights within just 10 seconds after the game-opening puck drop.

Despite the loss to USA, Canada still booked a spot in the finals by beating Finland on Monday, 5-3.

The 28-year-old Eichel has been one of USA’s top performers in the tourney, as he has four points – all via assists – including two in the win over Canada.
