Jakub Dobes will face the Wild tonight

Tonight, the Canadiens will face the Wild in Minnesota.

And yesterday, I mentioned in an article that Jakub Dobes deserved the start. He’s been excellent lately, and I said that Martin St-Louis should trust his hottest goalie against the second-best team in the NHL.

I was right, because Doby will be facing the Wild tonight.

I’m not surprised.

The Canadiens are currently fighting for a spot in the playoffs and need to put their best players on the ice night after night to give themselves the best possible chance of winning.

And right now, that means Dobes in goal.
