Jordan Binnington Reveals What Was Said in the Locker Room That Turned His Game Around

Goaltender for Canada, Jordan Binnington, is now a well-known name across the country. Initially criticized everywhere for his shaky performances in previous games, he is now considered one of the main reasons for Team Canada's victory last night.

What a turnaround!

However, it didn't happen by chance. As he mentioned last night after Canada's gold medal victory, something special happened in the locker room, where the players spoke to each other and focused more on the pride of representing a country like ours.

That changed everything, especially for Binnington, who truly started playing like the 2019 version of himself.

That said, following his performance last night, Binnington now has a new job to lose, and he is absolutely the favorite to be Team Canada's starting goaltender for the next Olympic Games.

Last night, the player who could have easily been named Canada's player of the game, Jordan Binnington, stopped 31 of the 33 shots fired at him by Team USA.

This will give him a huge boost of motivation for the remainder of his season with the St. Louis Blues.

Captain Crosby's comments to his teammates may have given them an extra boost.

According to Stéphane Leroux, Crosby told his teammates that he really wanted to win the Four Nations Tournament because he doesn't believe he'll win anything with the Penguins this year.
