Since the Toronto Maple Leafs acquired Kirill Marchenko, he has provided an immediate impact and shone on the power play.
He has four power-play goals across his first 12 games, joining elite company in Maple Leafs franchise history.
In the team's 5-4 victory over the New York Rangers on Thursday, he recorded his sixth goal of the season on the power play, providing a 4-3 lead with 51 seconds remaining in the second period.
The right winger has been a reliable and dominant force, pocketing three points (two goals, one assist) across his last three games. As well, he's only gone two games this season without recording a point, illustrating how he's adjusted to his new environment.
His star-studded chemistry alongside Auston Matthews and William Nylander has also allowed him to produce clean feeds in high-leverage areas.

Marchenko has demonstrated his poise with managing high-traffic and has utilized his 6-foot-3 frame and speedy reflexes to pounce on loose pucks.
Overall, his net-front versatility has made him a weapon with the man advantage and, paired with his speed and winning battles along the boards, has made him a captivating player to watch.
His clutch abilities, including a hat-trick performance on Oct. 15 against the Buffalo Sabres, also helped silence criticism from TSN's Jeff O'Neill. On an episode of "OverDrive," he claimed that he looked tired on the team's road trip to Colorado.
On the whole, Marchenko has been a solid contributor and provided much-needed depth in his short time with the Maple Leafs.
