LA Kings Prospect Update – Week 11/24

Another week has passed, and it’s time for another LA Kings‘ weekly prospect update. This week’s update was highlighted by Jimmy Lombardi, who had four goals and one assist for five points in three games.

Lombardi, 18, is enjoying a breakout campaign with the OHL-Flint Firebirds, recording 34 points (18 G, 16 A) in 25 games. Lombardi is currently on a five-game point streak with seven goals during that span. He has been serving in the role of Flint’s first-line center.

Lombardi is 10th in the OHL in scoring and is expected to play for Michigan in the NCAA next year. Could he be another shrewd mid-to-late-round draft pick by the Kings?
