LA Kings Prospect Update – Week 1/27

A week has passed, and it’s time for another LA Kings prospect update. Center Kenny Connors highlighted this week’s update with three goals in two games for UMass (NCAA). Connors is on a hot streak for UMass, scoring five goals in his last four games and at least one point in five straight games. The 21-year-old is in his junior season and has been used as a third-line center for the most part lately. His only blemish this weekend was going 12-for-29 in the faceoff circle (41.4%). LA’s 2022 fourth-round draft pick has 23 points (6 G, 17 A) in 27 games and has a strong defensive game.
