LA Kings Prospect Update – Week 1/5

Another week has passed, and it’s time for another LA Kings‘ weekly prospect update. For the second straight week, Hampton Slukynsky highlighted our weekly prospect update by winning both games against Denver University.

Slukynsky followed up his back-to-back shutouts against Notre Dame with a pair of 35 saves (.973 sv%) against Denver after claiming back-to-back NCHC Goalie of the Week honors. After a slow start to the season, Slukynsky has returned to form with his recent play over his last 12 starts. In those 12 starts, Slukynsky has allowed two goals or fewer in 10 of them.

Hampton Slukynsky stopped 35 of 37 shots in WMU’s 6-2 win over Denver. Slukynsky has won 7 straight starts and has allowed two goals or fewer in 10 of his last 12 games. He was also named the 3rd star of the game.

The Kings have a strong goalie prospect pool, and Slukynsky is a huge part of that.
