*NOTE: Since August 23rd, my Mom has picked the order of the training camp player previews for the Reign players because I couldn’t figure out what order to do them in. So, I asked for her assistance. Today, she chose Angus Booth!

2025-26 season

Looking to build off an impressive rookie season, Angus Booth’s sophomore campaign was delayed due to an injury in training camp. Having missed the first six games, Booth returned from injury on October 29th, but went back on the shelf for four more games after playing in two games.

When he returned to the lineup for the second time, he looked like the player we were accustomed to seeing from his rookie season. His defensive partner for most of the season was left-handed rookie defenseman Kirill Kirsanov, which saw Booth play on his off side; something he had done in the QMJHL.

The duo played heavy minutes, matched up against the opposition’s best at times in 5v5, and played a key role together on the penalty kill. The 22-year-old even made his NHL debut on March 2nd and scored a goal in a 4-2 loss to the Colorado Avalanche.
